Participation in grant-supported studies of new vaccines and antibiotics allows the Children's Mercy Infectious Disease specialists to offer patients the most advanced medicines and treatments available. Our board-certified pediatric infectious disease specialists place a strong emphasis on communication and are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for consultation and treatment of acute, recurrent and chronic infection.
