Reference service (ask a question)
Document delivery (photocopy and interlibrary loan)
Literature searching of subject databases and internet
Instruction in use of library and its resources, search skills, use of information tools
Help in preparing bibliographies and reference lists
Outside visitors to the Health Sciences Library must make an appointment with the library staff by calling 1816-234-3800 in advance. Services to unaffilated users are limited as follows:
· Reference assistance by library staff as staff time allows
· Self-service use of photocopy machine to copy library materials
· Assistance in locating books or journals not in the CMH&C library collection (www.worldcat.org; links from the CMH&C catalog
· Basic instruction in library skills
Who can borrow books and journals? CMHC employees may borrow directly.
All others must obtain interlibrary loans from their own hospital, university, or public library.
