Collaborative research within Children's Mercy Hospitals and
Clinics and throughout the country are natural byproducts of
our mission of providing comprehensive medical care to our patients
and their families.
Faculty are attracted to an academic pediatric center such as
Children's Mercy not only for its reputation of excellence in
clinical care and education, but also for a career opportunity in
academic medicine. Each of our faculty members has or is in the
process of developing a focus or niche of clinical and or
translational research.
