The Division of General Pediatrics at Children's Mercy Hospitals
and Clinics has a growing research program.
The diverse and energetic faculty are involved in a wide variety

- Weight Management screening and interventions
- Circumcision education to pediatric resident physicians
- Sharing of information about infant's delivery and stay at the
nursery with primary care provider
- Breast feeding
- Hyperbilirubinemia
- Health literacy
- Asthma
- Vaccinations
- Down Syndrome
- Delivery of care by pediatric resident physicians to a spanish
speaking population
- Children and youth with special health care needs
- Transitioning care from pediatrics to adult care
