Medical Students

Medical Students from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine spend two weeks in the clinic during their core pediatric clerkship. The rotation focuses on preventative care, including anticipatory guidance and safety issues, and care of children with acute and chronic medical problems. The Division of General Pediatrics also provides case-based teaching sessions as part of this experience. UMKC medical students from Years 1 and 2 spend time in the clinic observing physicians. Electives are available for medical students from other schools. Learn more >>.
