Pediatric Motility Clinic

Our pediatric motility clinic is comprised of specialists who treat children with all types of gastrointestinal motility disorders. Our families often travel from across the US to treat children with previously unexplained cases to be treated in the program. We often treat cases related to vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal distension, and difficulty swallowing. The motility clinic is part of the Division of Gastroenterology, nationally recognized by U.S. News and World Report.

Our Approach to Pediatric Motility Care

Our Motility Program utilizes a team approach where patients and families have access to physicians, nutritionists/dietitians, and dedicated nursing staff as well as access to advanced diagnostic techniques and motility tests that are only offered in a few locations around the country. The Children's Mercy Motility Program offers some of the best pediatric care for digestive disorders.
