The Turner Syndrome Clinic at Children's Mercy is a comprehensive medical approach to providing care for the more than 70 Turner Syndrome patients in the region.
Turner Syndrome Clinic Highlights
The clinic is held once every four months and offers patients and families an opportunity to meet with multiple pediatric specialists in one convenient location. Each child's visit includes complete lab and X-ray procedures. During the one-day clinic, families and patients are invited to take part in a social activity at the hospital in order to increase communication and education regarding the rare disease. The 28th Annual National Turner Syndrome US Conference will be held in Kansas City July 10-12, 2015.
