Children's Mercy Urgent Care College Boulevard is designed to complement the care provided by your child's primary care doctor. It is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency medicine and board-certified general pediatricians. It also offers some services not always available in a doctor's office, such as X-rays and laboratory tests.
If your child is sick, it may be difficult to decide if you need to go to the emergency room or an urgent care center. Your child's doctor can help you make the decision for the best place to take care of your child.
Children with serious or life-threatening injuries or illnesses should be taken directly to an emergency room. Children's Mercy offers emergency services at Children's Mercy Hospital, 2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO, and at Children's Mercy South, 5808 W. 110th St., Overland Park, KS. Both are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Children's Mercy Urgent Care College Boulevard provides care for children with minor injuries or illnesses that are not considered life threatening, but require prompt attention. Our services are a complement to the services provided by your primary care physician.
