The Section of Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics treats many different types of patients referred for transplant. No two patients are alike, and treatments may vary, even among patients with the same diagnosis. Our mission is to provide the highest quality blood and marrow transplant care.
Children's Mercy features a highly skilled team of pediatric blood and marrow transplant specialists including board-certified pediatric hematologists, pediatric oncologists and surgeons. Our staff also includes BMT-trained nurses, dieticians, child-life specialists, pharmacists, social workers and nurse coordinators.
