unit at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics is at "6
Henson."
The unit's specialties include:
- Pulmonology/Cystic Fibrosis
- Endocrine/Diabetes
- GI
We are a large, cheerful 25-bed unit. Located on the top floor
of the Henson Tower, we have great views of the city and our
helipad.
Our patients range in age from neonates to age 21+ years.
We work with the "Red Team," one of our general medical teams
composed of residents and attending physicians. We also work
directly with our subspecialty pediatric medical teams: endocrine,
pulmonology, and GI.
