Ambulatory Care clinics are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to children requiring ongoing surgical, medical or primary care in the outpatient setting.

A family-centered approach is used to treat patients seeking care for health promotion, health maintenance or health-related problems. Nurses interact with patients and families face-to-face or via the telephone, coordinating care, providing education or problem solving health-related issues.

Ambulatory care nursing also offers great opportunities to work autonomously and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
