Corporate Compliance Program

 

The Children’s Mercy Hospital Corporate Compliance Program is a formal program to help prevent and detect violations of laws and regulations. In doing so, the Corporate Compliance department works to protect and enhance the integrity of the Hospital while operating at the highest levels of ethics, integrity and compliance.

The Compliance Program consists of the Compliance Plan and the Code of Conduct.

Compliance Plan


The Children’s Mercy Compliance Plan:

  • Provides resources and support to achieve a Culture of Compliance and Service Excellence;

  • Demonstrates effective communication strategies and methods for reporting compliance concerns;

  • Demonstrates Children’s Mercy’s commitment to training and education to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards; and

  • Ensures prompt response and resolution of compliance concerns.

Code of Conduct


The Children’s Mercy Code of Conduct outlines the conduct necessary to create a Culture of Compliance and Service Excellence to ensure the highest level and most efficient patient care.

Financial Interest Disclosures

 

Children’s Mercy will provide information, upon request, regarding identified Financial Conflicts of Interest for senior/key personnel that are related to Public Health Service (PHS) funded research projects.
